Don’t resent growing old---many are denied the
privilege.
The older we get, the fewer things seem worth
waiting in line for.
Why do folks make such a fuss about growing
old? All it takes is a little time.
My younger sister tells me she has discovered
a wonderful way to eliminate wrinkles:
When you look in the mirror take off your
glasses.” |

Some sad notes from our community this week.
Andrew Truhan was admitted
to Heartland Nursing Home.
Ann Pastor has been at JFK Hospital for a week
with a urinary infection.
She has lost weight and is very weak.
Catherine Berry just keeps maintaining.
William Obehanich (OBIE) was in a serious
accident and hurt his legs badly,
but he should be in church tonight. If I
missed anyone else who is not feeling up to par,
let Helene know or call us at 732-1240. |

YOU CAN’T BE GOOD AT EVERYTHING
A man inherited a painting and a violin, which
turned out to be a Rembrandt and a Stradivarius.
Unfortunately, Rembrandt made lousy violins
and Stradivarius was a terrible painter.
We are more than we do, much more than what we
accomplish, far more than we possess.

PRAYER
FOR OUR TROOPS
Lord, hold our troops in your Loving Hands.
Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. We ask this in
the name of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. AMEN.

HOLY APOSTLES, PRAY FOR US
MARY, MOTHER OF LIGHT, PRAY FOR US
